I’ve been involved in non fiction writing for most of my adult life; for a large part of that time I’ve been on an arduous journey of self discovery.
I’m fascinated by the workings of the human mind and the concept of Modern Applied Psychology. I’ve been studying and practising Neuro Linguistic Programming and Cognitive Behavioural Coaching for the past 20 years, on a personal and informal basis.
However, it is only recently (2017) that I have taken steps to formalise my knowledge by undertaking formal educational studies in these disciplines. I also practice Nichiren Buddhism and have an interest in Stoic philosophy.
I have a passion for self-coaching, personal development coaching, and self improvement; these are things I see as life long processes. Experiencing a deep positive change in your own life, or witnessing a positive change in another, can be the most satisfying things I have ever encountered.
About the Blog
In this blog I share my thoughts, give personal views, write life-stories and social commentaries on personal development, self improvement, physical & mental health issues.
“I don’t share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of those who think differently, I share my thoughts to show those who think like me that they are not alone” ~ Anon
The blog features a mixture of short posts, serial posts, curated content and life-stories.
FYI, throughout the blog, I link to, and recommend books, courses and other blogs/websites that are useful to me in my quest for self-improvement and I hope that they will be useful to you.
Some of the links are affiliate links which means that if you decide to click on the link then end up buying a product, I receive a small commission which helps in the running of this blog.
